A middle-aged woman, Abosede Ojo, was apprehended by the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB) on Thursday evening for allegedly falsifying her job portal result.
According to Dr. Nureni Adeniran, Chairman of OYOSUBEB, Abosede Ojo scored 36 in the recruitment CBT examination but conspired with an examination syndicate to produce a fake congratulatory message.
The suspect was caught during a verification exercise for qualified candidates and confessed to not attending the interview. Instead, she worked with her husband to obtain a congratulatory message. The police are currently investigating transactions between Abosede Ojo and the cyber-cafe where she printed the fake result.
Dr. Adeniran warned others against engaging in similar illicit activities, stating that the board will track down and apprehend anyone involved. The suspect has been handed over to the police for further investigation ¹.
