Tragedy struck in Akwa Ibom State as a school principal and another individual lost their lives in a brutal clash between rival cult groups in Oron Local Government Area ¹. The victims, identified as Paul Eyo and Ekpe, were killed in a violent confrontation that shocked the community.

According to Commissioner of Police Joseph Eribo, who addressed the media on Friday at the police headquarters in Ikot Akpan-Abia, Uyo, Ekpe, the principal of a high school in Oron, was allegedly beheaded by members of a rival cult group ¹.
