BREAKING: SCHOOL PRINCIPAL BEHEADED IN AKWA IBOM CULT CLASH

Tragedy struck in Akwa Ibom State as a school principal and another individual lost their lives in a brutal clash between rival cult groups in Oron Local Government Area ¹. The victims, identified as Paul Eyo and Ekpe, were killed in a violent confrontation that shocked the community.

According to Commissioner of Police Joseph Eribo, who addressed the media on Friday at the police headquarters in Ikot Akpan-Abia, Uyo, Ekpe, the principal of a high school in Oron, was allegedly beheaded by members of a rival cult group ¹. Paul Eyo, suspected to be a member of the Black Axe cult group, was also killed with machete cuts to the head.

In response to the incident, police operatives arrested three suspects – Mfon Etim Uzoma, Robert Effiong Etim, and Malachi Williams Ubokulo – at a ravine in Abiak Owo Ebughu, Mbo LGA, following credible intelligence ¹.
