Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has announced that the initial phase of the Ibadan Circular Road is slated for completion within six to eight months. This assurance was given during a courtesy visit by Air Vice Marshal Kolade Ademuwagun, Air Officer Commanding, Logistics Command, Nigerian Air Force, Ikeja-Lagos.
Makinde expressed gratitude for the Nigerian Air Force’s unwavering support in maintaining the state’s security since his administration took office. He highlighted the anticipated benefits of the circular road project, including enhanced connectivity and the potential establishment of a fully operational Air Force base in Ajia town, Ona Ara Local Government Area.
The governor acknowledged the Air Force’s contributions to the Ibadan Airport expansion committee, aiming to elevate the facility to international standards. He congratulated Air Vice Marshal Ademuwagun on his new appointment and recognized the challenges facing the Nigerian Air Force, encouraging them to seek additional support as needed.
Air Vice Marshal Ademuwagun praised the Seyi Makinde administration’s multifaceted development initiatives across various sectors, noting that Oyo State has undergone significant transformations under Makinde’s leadership.
